Here we are, Halo’s Eve, tomorrow sees the release of one my most anticipated titles of 2011 and strangely, the game is already a decade old. However, as much as I look forward to wrapping Halo: CE’s campaign around me like a nice warm blamket I keep finding myself coming back to the same slightly sinking feeling,
So, Halo 4 eh?
Steam, as a service, is something I am slowly growing to love. It was at first a different story however, I hated it. I first came in contact with the strange and flighty beast on November 16th 2004. I had come home with a copy of a game I’d been waiting for, a title I had coveted as I played and replayed it’s acclaimed forebear. The tension in the air was palpable as i carefully removed the shrink wrap. I gingerly removed the single DVD from it’s Amaray branded ABS temple and began the install. Progress bars leapt across the screen with all the earnest haste of a half dead snail with a really crappy sense of direction. Okay, thirty minutes isn’t that bad, it’s a brand new game and my machine isn’t exactly fast…
